Civil and military aircraft

Customer support: anytime, anywhere

Right from the initial design, our civil and military aircraft integrate all of our customers’ requirements and expectations. And then throughout their long service life, our teams deliver top-flight support.

Custom-tailored military support

We provide complete military support services worldwide, to ensure the full operational capability of our aircraft for many years to come.

Our support solutions are based on a clear commitment to maximum dispatch reliability. Support packages such as Rafale Care, Mirage Care and ATL2 Care are fixed-price by-the-hour contracts that meet the needs of today’s armed forces anywhere in the world.

In export markets we provide highly personalized services, calling on local technical experts if needed to support our own service offering, which ranges from periodic checks to major overhauls.

In 2017, the United Arab Emirates armed forces announced that they would be modernizing their Mirage 2000-9 fighter fleet.

Our ability to continuously upgrade our aircraft is shown by several modernization programs already under way, including for the French navy’s ATL2 maritime patrol aircraft, the French air force’s Mirage 2000 D fighters and India’s Mirage 2000 fighters.

Our teams leverage new information technologies (big data, diagnostics, prognostics, virtual and augmented reality) to offer customers new applications designed to optimize operational and maintenance management.

We are also continuing our commitment to training our customers’ pilots and mechanics, not only in France, of course, but also for the Egyptian and Qatari armed forces.

Unrivaled Falcon support

FalconResponse is an assistance service that is unrivaled in the business aircraft market. If any of our planes are grounded, we deploy two Falcon 900s to ferry the human and material resources needed to quickly get these planes back in the air – as well as carrying our customers to their destination if needed.

This system is based on three complementary activities. One of our three Command Centers triggers and coordinates assistance missions, operating 24 / 7. The three centers are located in France, in Saint-Cloud, and in the United States, in Teterboro, New Jersey, and Boise, Idaho.

Falcon Spares distributes spare parts from 15 warehouses located around the world, while our Falcon Go Teams can be dispatched on site to share their expertise.

Our after-sales support network now counts more than 50 service stations, including the new Dassault Falcon Service (DFS) facility in Mérignac, near Bordeaux, which can handle up to six Falcon 8X size aircraft at a time. In addition to conventional maintenance, this facility handles structural repairs, cabin layouts, avionics modifications and painting. Dassault Falcon Service celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017.

The Dassault Training Academy provides training courses for operators and service stations that work with our Falcon jets.

Falcon Immersive Practical Training is a new virtual reality system that provides advanced training for mechanics.
