By adding optional subsystems and equipment, the Falcon can also become an effective SIGnal INTelligence (SIGINT) platform.
Thanks to an advanced AI sustained man-machine interface, only few mission system operators are needed to fully handle all the information (and treatment) in this Multi-role specific configuration.
Thanks to the existing Computers, Command and Control systems, but also Communication devices, the Falcon can also act as a secondary flying command and control solution, allowing the interoperability between different assets, when necessary.
Falcons used for signals intelligence (SIGINT) missions require complex systems integration. External sensors and on-board stations analyse radio traffic and radar emissions and relay data to command centres on the ground. Dassault engineers have deep experience in military customization, working closely with SIGINT system providers to integrate intelligence-gathering systems into the airframe.
The design and integration of all the sensors is carefully addressed, especially in terms of electromagnetic interferences and compatibilities, in order to cope with ELINT or COMINT sensors’ stringent requirement.
