The Paris Air Show is the opportunity for Dassault Aviation to see its Rafale aircraft fly in a spectacular demonstration for the delight of spectators.
This demonstration, designed to show off the aircraft’s acceleration, rotation and low speed maneuverability capabilities for operations from land bases, will be given by Captain Jean-Brice Millet named “Mimous” at the controls of a Rafale C.
The only totally “omnirole” aircraft in the world, able to operate from a land base or an aircraft carrier, capable of carrying 1.5 times its weight in weapons and fuel, the Rafale has been designed to perform the full spectrum of combat aircraft missions: Interception and air-to-air combat, Close air support, Deep strike, Maritime strike, Real-time tactical and strategic reconnaissance, in-flight refueling, Nuclear deterrence.
