To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Hyères naval aeronautics base is organizing a meeting with an impressive line-up.

100 years is a great age… To celebrate its first century of existence, the naval aeronautics base at Hyères, in the Var department of France, has decided to pull out all the stops! And to invite the local public to “vibrate with pleasure to the sound of these superb machines, from the most mythical to the most sophisticated”, according to Captain Paul Zanassi, commander of the base.

To this end, he and his teams have concocted an aerial stage and ground animations that spectators will have the opportunity to discover, with the Bagad de Lann-Bihoué, descended from Brittany for the occasion, playing in the background. In addition to the Patrouille de France and the French Air Force aerobatic team, the Rafale (Marine, of course) and the Caïman, those attending the event will be able to admire: the Breguet BR1150 Alizé, the North American T-28, the Morane-Saulnier MS.760, the Falcon, the Douglas DC3, the Boeing Stearman, a Blériot XI and many more. See you on June 1 for this exceptional day!
