Come to Limousin on September 13 and 14 for a grand aviation festival in the spirit of the 1950s. The theme for the 2025 edition is “What if we flew?”
True to rural traditions, the Légend’Air meeting (not to be confused with Air Legend), which takes place at the Maryse Bastié aerodrome in Saint-Junien (87), offers a delightful selection of activities, including aerial demonstrations (aerobatics, acrobatic patrols, historic aircraft), static displays (training aircraft, vintage vehicles, stands run by artists and aeronautical associations), vintage vehicle parades, concerts, and first flights.
The theme for this year’s event is “What if we flew?”, highlighting civil and military training aircraft. In total, around forty aircraft are expected. Among them are a Caudron 109 (the aircraft in which Mayse Bastié set the women’s flight duration record in 1929), a Pilatus P2, a North American T6, a Mustang X-Ray, a Piper J-3, a Yak 52, a TB 30 Epsilon, Pitts S12, a Cessna 150, a Nanchang CJ6 and a Nieuport 17. Everything to delight an audience of between 15,000 and 25,000 people.
Légend’Air Air Show. September 13 and 14, 2025. Free admission. Maryse Bastié Aerodrome, avenue du Général de Gaulle, 87200 Saint-Junien
