The return of a major airshow to BA 123 “Commandant Charles Paoli” must have delighted aviation fans in the Orléans region! And for good reason: it had been fifteen years since the military installation had hosted the event. This has now been achieved in 2025, and the festivities, organized with the support of Dassault Aviation, promise to be particularly beautiful. So much so that the meeting will be preceded for a week by a village in the heart of Orléans, dedicated to young people wishing to enlist in the armed forces. And in the absence of the Patrouille de France in the sky, an Alpha jet will be on display on the ground.

Organized by the Fondation des Œuvres Sociales de l’Air, the event is expected to bring together more than 100 military and civilian aircraft, including vintage aircraft. “It’ll be non-stop from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day,” says Colonel Jean-François Déplanche, in charge of Base 123. On the military side, there will be the French Air Force aerobatic team, the Phénix team (parachute ambassadors), the A400M, the Rafale Solo Display, and the Eurofighter Typhoon. On the civilian side, the Beechcraft 33 Bonanza, the Fouga CM 170 Magister, the Lockheed T33, a Dassault Flamant and the Noratlas are all expected. All in all, an exceptional weekend!
