Registration for the 21st edition of the Student Aerospace Challenge has been officially open since October 5, 2026.
The Challenge was launched in 2006 by the European Astronaut Club (ACE). Its current industrial and institutional partners are: ArianeGroup, Dassault Aviation, the European Space Agency (ESA), the French National Center for Space Studies (CNES), and the Air and Space Museum.
It is open to all students from European countries that are members of the ESA and allows participants to contribute to the study of a hyper-fast, very-long-range suborbital manned vehicle or a manned spacecraft capable of reaching low Earth orbit.
The competition provides an opportunity to study and explore various aspects of a suborbital or space aircraft, including design, reusable propulsion, economics, medicine, and the environment.
Candidates have until and including Saturday, October 31, 2026, to register, form a team of 2 to 5 members, and add a project at the frontier of space to their academic experience!
