On March 19, 2019, UIMM Nouvelle Aquitaine, in partnership with the Regional Directorate on Women’s Rights and Equality (DRDFE), held the seventh “Prix de la Vocation Féminine” award ceremony, honoring female professionals working in technology and industry.
Organized as part of Industry Week, this award recognizes the commitment and motivation of women in this field.
After Cécile, the fitter-assembly line worker who won the award in 2017, it was now the turn of Nadège Reuilh Le Gall, an R&D technician in the field of composites, and Elodie Bouille, who manages the Falcon sub-assemblies production unit, were nominated for the establishment in Biarritz and received their rewards, following a conference-debate on the theme “Does industry rhyme with women?”, which took place in the Adour training center in Assat.
For Mérignac, represented by Caroline Darribau, Laure Profit, Madeline Beaute and Bricette Aye, the prize was awarded during the evening “Trajectoires IndustriELLES”.
During the prize-giving ceremony, Valérie Guillemet, Director of the Mérignac site, spoke about her experience and participated in a round-table discussion on women’s place in industry.
