The 2018 International Seaplane Event, organized by the town of Biscarrosse and the local aviation community, will take place on the weekend of June 9 and 10, 2018 at the Latécoère base in Biscarrosse.
Airshows are organized for the Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., bringing together iconic seaplanes and aircraft. Many legendary aircraft (Breguet 14, PBY Catalina, DC3, Beaver, Beriev BE-200, Grumman Albatross, etc.) will appear in the various displays for a look back over the history of French and international aviation.
The Rafale Marine from the French Naval Aviation, a Canadair from the French Civil Defense Agency, the Patrouille de France and the display team from the French Air Force are also due to make an appearance in the skies of Biscarrosse.
From Thursday, June 7 to Sunday, June 10, 2018, you will also have the chance to discover the Slash-in, which brings together seaplanes and hydro ultralights from various countries.
