The 23rd Roanne international air show will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Roanne airfield.
The show will be celebrating 45 years of continuous displays, every 2 years, since 1973. This year, we will be commemorating the centenary of the end of World War I through aviation developments from 1918 to 2018.
This 23rd show will also pay tribute to Georges Rémy, who was responsible for organizing the Roanne air shows from 1973 to 2006, and passed away on October 14, 2017.
For this year’s lineup there will be 8 hours of showtime where you will have the chance to feast your eyes on aircraft from all eras. For example, there will be the MD 312 Flamant, Fokker Triplane, RSA, S.E.5, Rafale Solo Display and the famous Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France. The French Air Force display team will also be present to take part in flight demonstrations.
