On Sunday, April 10, 2016, the Artcurial auction house is organizing an auction on the theme of aeronautics and the Dassault Aviation Centenary.
The catalog features more than 200 lots, including spare aircraft parts, desktop models, photographs, books and posters, furniture based on aeronautical designs, etc.
For this auction, Artcurial is also presenting several unique pieces of furniture made of spare parts from Dassault Aviation aircraft. The artist Jean-Pierre Carpentier has produced a floor lamp and a desk made from a 12-cylinder engine developed for the MD 311-312-315 Flamant. Likewise, Agnès Patrice-Crépin has used parts from a Falcon 2000 and a Falcon 10 to create a shelf unit, a table, and a reception desk.
