The 53rd edition of the famous La Ferté-Alais air show coincides this year with the 80th anniversary of the founding of Cerny Airfield, where it takes place. It’s the perfect occasion for a grand celebration!
“Save the Date” for the weekend of May 23 and 24, 2026! For this 53rd edition of Le Temps des Hélices (what a timeless name!), the famous Pentecost air show will, as usual, offer top-notch ground events for the approximately 40,000 spectators expected. Each morning, the public will be able to get up close to the many aircraft on display, attend all kinds of shows (such as the fireworks display), and admire vintage demonstrations (including parades of vintage motorcycles and cars, as well as marches by historical reenactment troops). Not to mention the many booths in the exhibitors’ village, of course!
And every afternoon, no fewer than five hours of aerial displays will take place in the skies over the Essonne department (91), featuring a variety of themed segments. This year’s theme is “French Military Aviation: Flying Remains a Dream.” And on the agenda for this dream are: the Caudron G.3, the Morane H, the Fokker Dr., the Morane-Saulnier MS-317, the sole example of the Avro 652A Anson Mk.I, the Dassault Flamant MD 311, the Nord 1101 Noralpha, the Junkers Ju 52, the Supermarine Spitfire, the Douglas C-47, and the Rafale Solo Display, to name just a few! All accompanied by a superb poster designed by Romain Hugault, as usual!
