The Le Touquet Air Show returns for the fifth consecutive year on Sunday, September 27, with no fewer than forty aircraft to admire on the ground and/or in the air.
A “spectacular” start to fall and a special edition celebrating the 90th anniversary of Le Touquet-Elizabeth II International Airport. For the fifth consecutive year, the Le Touquet Air Show will take place in the historic Marquenterre region. A true air show—free and open to all—will take place along the waterfront of the famous seaside resort. In addition to a festival village featuring numerous exhibition booths, at least one flight simulator, and food stalls, the event is expected to showcase around forty aircraft.
This means that the many spectators expected to attend will be able to admire the Morane Saulnier MS 733, the Fouga Magister CM 170, the North American T6, and the UK Piper P-51 Mustang. Among the French Air and Space Force’s ambassadors, don’t miss the Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France, the Airbus A400M Tactical Display, and the Phenix paratroopers.
As for the aerobatic teams, highlights include Team Raven (United Kingdom) and the Red Arrows (also from the United Kingdom, but part of the Royal Air Force). Finally, when it comes to helicopters, be sure to check out the Belgian Air Force’s NH90 SAR, the French Navy’s Dauphin, and the Royal Air Force’s Black Cat. And many more aircraft to admire!
