On September 12 and 13, 2026, head to the Maryse Bastié Airfield in Saint-Junien, in the Limousin region, for a free festival combining aviation, fun, and comic books.
Clouds and speech bubbles! Located about 20 kilometers from Limoges, Légend’Air offers a wonderful array of activities, ranging from aerial demonstrations (aerobatics, acrobatic fly-by teams, historic aircraft) to static displays (training aircraft, vintage vehicles, booths run by artists and aviation associations), as well as parades of vintage vehicles, concerts, and introductory flights. Not to mention the presence of comic book artists and writers announced for the occasion—that’s the theme of the 2026 edition.
In the skies, and to delight an audience typically ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 people, the organizers are pulling out all the stops once again for this edition. Visitors can look forward to admiring vintage and collectible aircraft (both in flight and on the ground), spanning several decades of aviation history: from biplanes of the 1930s to Soviet aerobatic planes like the Yak-50, as well as replicas of World War I aircraft, such as the Nieuport 17. In short, an air show that feels like a true aviation festival!
