To mark the centenary of the Great War, the Aéroclub Robert Thiéry commemorates the Battle of Verdun, paying tribute to the Air Force and celebrating the 70th anniversary of the flying club.

Tracing the history of aviation from its beginnings to the present day, you can admire the Patrouille de France (French Air Force Aerobatic Team), the Rafale Solo, the light aircraft of the French Army in flight and on the ground as well as aircraft of all types and ages.

You can also visit a whole host of booths during this event on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 10 am at the Verdun/Sommedieue airfield.
