Once again this year, the Barcarès Air Show (Department 66) will welcome members of the French Air and Space Force Ambassadors team.
The heat wave may be a distant memory by the time summer visitors gaze up at several of the Air and Space Force Ambassadors in the skies above this seaside resort in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. At least, let’s hope so!
For the 2026 edition, there should be plenty of activities on the ground, including booths run by the Air and Space Force and a wide range of entertainment for children. This will offer a nice change of pace from the traditional attractions offered by the Mediterranean resort, such as its markets, its famous farm, the Dosses nature reserve, the ship “Le Lydia,” and its beautiful Maison des Arts.
In the skies, the French Air and Space Force Aerobatics Team, the Rafale Solo Display, and France’s only professional civilian aerobatics team—the Epsilon Team—are currently scheduled to perform. That’s right—in Le Barcarès, even after July 14, the fireworks continue!
