Éditions Dupuis continues to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the famous Buck Danny series, by publishing the second and final part of Blackbirds ( Les oiseaux noirs ), the last story written by Jean-Michel Charlier.
Begun in late 1988 by the Charlier-Bergèse duo, the Blackbirds (Les Oiseaux Noirs) series came to an abrupt halt after the death of the celebrated writer. Nearly 30 years later, the illustrator, Francis Bergèse, picked up the 16 pages already written, to complete the publication of the first part.

Unfortunately, this second mission also fails, and the Russians successfully complete the development of a revolutionary space combat system. This new weapon could strike an unprecedented blow against the North American forces, so Buck and his friends need to act fast…
