With flypasts and acrobatics over New York and the Great Wall of China among its exploits, for seven decades the Patrouille de France has never ceased to excite the imagination of all generations, inspire vocations and dazzle huge numbers of people, in France and abroad. And since 1953, a considerable amount of good feeling towards the “Patrouille” has been maintained! This is demonstrated by the large number of air shows it takes part in, where it is welcomed every year throughout France.

Renowned cartoonist Olivier Dauger has already collaborated on a large number of aviation-related comic books, including “Ciel de Guerre”, “Hélène Boucher, l’étoile filante” and, most recently, “Tuskegee Ghost”. This is his particularly rich tribute to the Patrouille de France. It also showcases all the squadron’s highlights since it was created, whether with the Republic F-84, the Ouragan, the Mystère, the Fouga Magister or the current Alpha Jet, flown since 1981.
