For its third edition, one of the youngest air shows in France offers a program worthy of the greatest! Make a date to come along to the beach at Les Sables d’Olonne, on June 11th.
This is only the third edition of the Vendée Air Show (the two previous ones were in 2017 and 2019). The event is continuing its youthful momentum! This year will feature more than three hours of entertainment for residents and tourists visiting the seaside resort of Les Sables d’Olonne.
The Patrouille de France with its Alphajets and the Rafale Solo Display will be among the headliners of the meeting. Regarding aircraft that are a lot rarer to spot locally, a particular mention goes out to the presence of the Lockheed T-33 (an American training aircraft dating from the late 1940s) as well as the F4U Corsair (flown in the same era by the famous Gregory “Pappy” Boyington, himself immortalized by the famous US TV series “Baa Baa Black Sheep”).
And since the organizers of the Vendée Air Show wanted to take the aerobatics theme even further, they invited Danielle Skywalker, who onboard (underneath, on top of, on the wings, depending on the situation!) of her biplane performs truly breathtaking acrobatic feats. Add to this freestyle paragliding, parachuting and aerobatic gliding and you get three hours of a full-throttle show live from the Atlantic coast!
