Broadcast on the specialist channel Aerostar TV, as well as on their website, the series of “Flying under the Insignia” (“Sous les cocardes”) programs is a voyage of discovery into the broad range of missions undertaken by the French Air Force.

Following segments focused in particular on the military center of aerial expertise, the Trilateral Exercise Initiative (TEI), Air Force ambassadors, and the air operations center, the program touches down in French Guiana at the 367 air base.

Every day, several hundred soldiers carry out a variety of missions from this base: combating illegal gold panning, combating illegal fishing activities, sovereignty missions in South America and the Antilles, and of course the protection of the Guiana Space Center, which is located near Kourou and is the launch site for the famous Ariane, Soyuz, and Vega rockets.

Aérostar TV broadcasts programs around the clock for the general public, as well as for aerospace fans. It is available via various ADSL packages.
