Just as traditional as the Toulon air show—which it succeeds—the Le Lavandou air show transforms the peaceful seaside town into the setting for a world-class aerial spectacle.
Le Lavandou, with its dozen beaches, markets, hiking trails, neighboring islands, and its “sister-rival ” Bormes-les-Mimosas (Le Lavandou was formed from a split of the municipality of Bormes-les-Mimosas in 1913), its Villa Théo, its Saint-Louis Church, and, of course, its air show on August 16, which takes place every year one day after the Toulon air show, held in a town just a stone’s throw to the west. The theme chosen for the 2026 edition is new technologies.
Summer visitors will thus be able to admire the Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France, the aerobatics of the Rafale Solo Display, and those of the French Air and Space Force Aerobatics Team. This event brings French aeronautical excellence right to the people of the Var region, right in the heart of summer.
