From September 13 to 28, 2019, the Folies Bergère Theater is staging a dreamlike adaptation of “Le Petit Prince” in which dance, new circus and video projections unite for a remarkable show.
Since its publication in 1943, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s universally acclaimed poetic and philosophical novella Le Petit Prince has continued to inspire the creative art world and has been the subject of many film, cartoon, opera, musical comedy and instrumental music adaptations.
The artist Valentin Kolev, director of Sokol Entertainment, also pays tribute to the most famous work of the aviator and novelist, by staging a show that combines contemporary dance, aerial acrobatics and multimedia.
Cleverly using video mapping technology to completely immerse spectators in a fantasy world, different backdrops depicting the poetic tale are displayed as dancers and acrobats wow the audience.
