Saturday, December 17, the Air and Space Museum invites you to a one-time performance of the film concert “Les Ailes” (The Wings), accompanied live by the quartet Prima Vista, Cédric Barbier and Rodolph Puechbroussous.
“The Wings*” was the first Hollywood film to address military aviation. In 1929, it was also the first film win the Oscar for best film. The reproduction offered as part of this film concert has undergone a magnificent restoration, making a fitting tribute to the quality of aerial photographs that the audience can admire throughout the film.
Guided tours of the “Verdun, la guerre aérienne” (Verdun, the air war exhibition) are also offered on the day of the film concert at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. (duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes).
