A special edition of this monthly magazine, devoted to the major inventions that have allowed aeronautics to reach the heights it has today.
This special edition of “Le Fana de l’Aviation” magazine from November 2018 focuses entirely on the key innovations in the aeronautics industry, from the beginning to the present day. Covering three themes: technology, safety, and equipment, the legendary magazine presents the major advances that have pushed aeronautics forward in leaps and bounds, particularly in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The magazine looks at the first black boxes (or flight recorders), designed and developed in the 1930s by French engineer François Hussenot, ejector seats, developed during World War II, the various improvements to helmets over the years (visors, among others), navigation techniques, etc.
Readers can also learn about construction costs, the wings and landing gear of the Rafale, wiring systems, drones, the advantages of electronics… In short, a special edition packed with information, for a magazine that will be 60 years old in 2019!
