The 2026 edition of the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Air Show will take place this year from May 14 to 17, offering four exceptional days in this Atlantic coastal town.
With three decades under its belt, unwavering popularity and appeal, a natural setting among the most beautiful in France, and around a hundred professionals gathering each year… There’s no denying it: the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Air Show shines for its consistency and its mission—namely, to strengthen ties between the general public along the Basque coast and military institutions, particularly the Air and Space Force.
This year, the festivities will take place from May 14 to 17 (the event usually takes place in the fall), with the traditional ground exhibits open on Place Foch (downtown): flight simulators—Mirage 2000, Mirage F1—aircraft on static display, insights into careers in aviation, recruitment drives, and much more. Also not to be missed is the screening of the film “Athos,” which we mentioned in this column and which follows the daily lives of the members of the Patrouille de France; it will be shown at the Le Sélect cinema.
The air show—featuring a total of 18 aircraft—will take place on May 16 starting at 4:00 p.m. (and lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes), featuring, among others, the ambassadors of the Air and Space Force:
Falcon 50, Rafale Marine, Alpha jet from the Patrouille de France, A400M Atlas, and more. Everything you need for an unforgettable weekend by the ocean!
