(Saint-Cloud, June 13, 2023) – It is with great sadness that Dassault Aviation has learned of the death of Denis Kessler, on June 9 last.

From 2003 to 2014, Denis Kessler was a Director of Dassault Aviation. He had also been a member of the Group’s first audit committee, set up in 2010.

In both of these roles, he demonstrated remarkable loyalty, analytical insight and energy, in keeping with his exceptional background and career.

Denis Kessler was a particularly gifted student, then a researcher, teacher and economist, before becoming an entrepreneur, head of a large company and leading figure of the French employers federation (Medef), combining academic knowledge, financial skills, management experience and a strategic vision. This exceptional level of expertise brought much to all
those who had the privilege of working with him. His erudition, discretion, humor and courtesy were also without equal.

Dassault Aviation wishes to express its sincere condolences to his family and friends, as well as its admiration and its gratitude.
