The Sport & Collection air show, that puts cars in the spotlight, is heading to the Vienne department and the town of Le Vigeant for the first weekend in June, and will welcome Dassault Aviation’s most famous ambassadors in order to raise funds for the fight against cancer.
Created in 1995, the Sport & Collection air show (going by the same name as the charity) draws spectators that are sure to be attracted to the speed of the road cars showcased on the track from June 1 to 4, 2023. However, aviation is not forgotten – and here’s the proof!
This 29th edition of the first ever European charity automobile event will provide a great stage for aeronautics. This notably includes aircraft belonging to the French Air and Space Force, the most renown of which will be present throughout the air show – amongst ground demonstrations, exhibits, galas, rallies, retrospective exhibitions, parades (including one with 500 models from the Italian manufacturer Ferrari) and other competitions.
From Friday June 2nd to Sunday June 4th, spectators (the association expects around 30,000 participants) will each day be able to attend demonstrations by Rafale and the famous Alphajets of the Patrouille de France. This all adds up to make a successful event serving a good cause and which last year raised 400,000 euros for the Poitiers University Hospital. And that’s a record to beat!
