A book that recounts the day-to-day lives of members of the Air Force in detail as they carry out operations all over the world. Immerse yourself in their everyday activities!

A journalist with extensive expertise in military aviation and the Armed Forces in general (he has most notably worked with “Raids-Aviation”), Jean-Marc Tanguy has published more than ten works on the subject. Most notably, he has written “Forces spéciales” and “Le commando Kieffer – les 177 Français du D-Day” – Suffice it to say, the author is in his element.

In “Air Force – Victory comes from the sky”, he describes the missions of the men and women who ensure the French presence overseas, all while guaranteeing the security of France. The result is a series of stories: exfiltration at the Turkish border, raids in Syria targeting terrorists, and other exploits inspired by Jean-Marc Tanguy’s reporting in Afghanistan, Niger, Jordan and the Balkans.

Alongside or on board the Mirage or the Rafale, these are just some of the many tales featured in the pages of this book. Some contributors are giving their accounts for the first time, lifting the veil (a little, or a lot…) on the crucial missions they carried out with the greatest discretion.
