In this second part of a triptych, our American pilots find themselves on the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle off Antarctica.
The story begins with Sonny’s dangerous aerial encounter with Lady X during a mission. She was hired by a mysterious organization, “Le Cercle” (in English: “The Circle”), and will, once again, end up on the route of our three heroes.
The writer, ex-fighter pilot, Zumbiehl, and the cartoonist, Gil Formosa, take us to a secret base hidden in the mountains of South America. It houses the activities of the Circle, “a very closed group of bankers and businessmen, driven by money and power”.
But beware, appearances are sometimes deceiving: will you be able to detect who is really serving their country? Or, on the contrary, an extremist agent?
Will our pilots triumph over Lady X and the Circle? To be discovered in the forthcoming volume.
