A new chapter in the adventures of Tom Nolane! Following in the footsteps of volume 12, with all the action taking place in the region around the Red Sea, the authors continue to explore the topic of terrorism.
In the previous volume, “Trap in the Red Sea”, pilot Tom Nolane was accompanying Roxane Klein, a doctor with Doctors Without Borders, taking part in an expedition to determine the origin of a mysterious virus. In this new chapter of the “Team Rafale” series, entitled “Rafale against Rafale*”, Nolane arrives at the French air base in Djibouti with Roxane. Here he hopes to find help to free Tank, his long-time associate, who is being held hostage by jihadists threatening to execute him.
In the meantime, the “Charles de Gaulle” aircraft carrier is immobilized and at the mercy of terrorists who have hijacked an ocean liner in order to use it as a battering ram. But that’s not all! These very same terrorists have also gotten their hands on a damaged Rafale that they will soon finish refurbishing. Now they will have the possibility to equip it with bombs that are sufficiently powerful to deal a fatal blow to the flagship of the French Navy…
Tom Nolane will have to engage in a real race against the clock to get Tank out of this mess in time to return to protect the “Charles de Gaulle”, for an air duel that is shaping up to be fratricidal: Rafale against Rafale!
