In this October-November issue, the editors have produced a look back on a joint exercise carried out in May between the French and Moroccan air forces.
In this October-November 2022 issue, the “Raids Aviation” team has focused on the ‘Marathon’ exercise, which took place in May, bringing together France and Morocco, taking off from Sidi Slimane air force base, not far from the capital Rabat. Three Mirage 2000D aircraft from the French Air and Space Force, based in Nancy, took part, accompanied by a Mirage F1-M from the Royal Moroccan Army.
This bimonthly issue also includes a large segment dedicated to the Belgian Air Force, in particular the F-16 aircraft of one of the two tactical wings (comprising the 1st and 350th squadrons) of the aforementioned air force. This issue also features a section on the Farnborough International Airshow (which took place in July in the United Kingdom) where visitors were able to admire the Falcon 8X.
France’s future Military Planning Law is also discussed in this issue. Finally, lets not forget the regular segments, such as the French and international news briefs. Happy reading!
