In these books, the illustrators David Voileaux and Jean Bells were able to put into images the evolution of the two great World Wars several fighter aircraft.
During the 1914-1918 period with the trend towards innovation, the second volume of the series focuses on mass production. Whatever the period, each country was forced to develop ever more powerful, fast and efficient aircraft to face the advances of the opposing camp.
