Event. Salon-de-Provence Air Show

This air show will take place just in time for the 70th anniversary of the Patrouille de France, which will of course be in attendance during these two days of a particularly rich program. Just take a look!

This air show will take place just in time for the 70th anniversary of the Patrouille de France, which will of course be in attendance during these two days of a particularly rich program. Just take a look!

This air show pays ample tribute to the seven decades of the Patrouille de France’s history (which was officially created in 1953) — and Dassault Aviation is one of the partners! Moreover, the special feature of this event is that it has been organized by the Fondation des Œuvres Sociales de l’Air and all proceeds raised will go to the families of members of the French Air and Space Force in need, so by visiting you are also doing a good deed. The program for Saturday and Sunday will be more or less the same for the two days and promises to be of a high standard.

As such, in the morning, spectators will be able to see demonstrations by the Royal Air Force parachutist ambassadors, the Fouga Magister CM-170, the Patrouille ASPA (Spain), the Wings of Storm squadron (Croatia), the Supermarine Spitfire, the F-18 Hornet Solo Display (Switzerland), and a presentation by the French gendarmerie dog units. And even more…

The afternoon will be a bit more “explosive,” with the presence of the F-86 Sabre, the F-16 Viper Display Team (Belgium), the A-400 Atlas, the Rafale Solo Display, the Patrouille de France (of course), the Pilatus B4, the Patrouille Carnet de Vol aerobatics unit, and more. What a delight for the 40,000 spectators anticipated each day at one of the very first major air shows of the season!
