It’s official! Training for the 2021 edition of the Rafale Solo Display is starting up again! Since February 4, the RSD teams have been mobilized in preparation for the next demonstrations of the Rafale.

For more than 10 years now, the team has made appearances at numerous air shows to showcase the aircraft’s performance. This official display team of the French Air Force usually proposes twenty dates a year to promote the Rafale, one of Dassault Aviation’s greatest technical achievements, to the general public.

In 2021, Captain Jérôme Thoule, or “Schuss”, will fly for the second year running. As tradition requires, he is being coached by his predecessor, Captain Sébastien Nativel, known as “Babouc”. Although the health crisis has put public air shows in jeopardy, training is currently underway in accordance with the regular schedule.
