Separation systems for small satellites

The separation system is intended to fasten a microsatellite to the launch vehicle, to separate it and then to move it away

The separation system is intended to fasten a microsatellite (≤ 100 kg) to the launch vehicle, to separate it and then to move it away (Vz ≈ 1 to 3 m/s).

The separation system uses an hermetic expansible tube, four to ten springs move the satellite away.

Initiation is realized through two 1DPWH30 type detonators.
