For its fourth edition, from Friday 30 September to Sunday 2 October, the “Ailes et Volcans” airshow offers a program of international flavors and… aerobatics!
Created in 2018, the meeting, which has taken place every year since then on the Issoire-Le Broc airfield, offers a program that has continued to grow in just a few years of existence! For this beginning of autumn, the event proposes more than fifty animations, intended for the neophytes and the initiated – big and small. The organization has focused on the technological revolution as well as on employment, including a “jobdating”. So much for the ground part!
Because in the sky too, there will be plenty to see and appreciate, since a good twenty demonstrators are expected to be on display above the Puy-de-Dôme. On the French side, let’s mention in particular the participation of the French Patrol and its Alpha Jets or the Air Force aerobatic team – which was crowned world champion this summer.
As for the presence of foreign patrols, let’s mention in particular – and it’s a first in the French sky – that of the Chinook CH-47 (United Kingdom), the Pioneer Team Italia or the Red Devils Belgium.
Another highlight announced by the organization: an aerobatics demonstration with Aude Lemordant, French champion who needs no introduction. Not forgetting, in no particular order, demonstrations by the A400M, parachute ambassadors from the French Air Force… In short, a varied and plentiful menu!
